Le Cozy Café

Le Cozy Café is a luncheonette nestled in the heart of Hudson, Qc. We met Jessika & Sue the first week their restaurant opened in January of 2015. Our mandate was to create a digital presence for their brand new restaurant. They needed a website, a presence on social media, a logo, photos, and a menu.

logo – branding & identity

The first thing we did was come up with a logo. We proposed the logo below, and the owners Jessika and Sue instantly feel in love with it.

social media marketing

Le Cozy Cafe needed to let locals know that they were now open for business. Social media channels like Facebook and Instagram we’re the perfect tools to spread the word. We opened a Facebook page and an Instagram page for them. We got some initial traction and handed them over the keys.

facebook advertising

To amplify the reach of Le Cozy Cafe’s Facebook page we used a combination of high quality photos and targeted Facebook ads to people living within 10km of Hudson. This created meaningful user engagement from potential clients living in the area. The girls immediately saw the effects of the Facebook ads as foot traffic consistently doubled week over week for the first 4 months.

website

They Cozy girls needed a mobile friendly/ responsive website visual enough to properly show-off the delicious breakfast and lunch menu they created. We used a WordPress Content Management System (CMS), a great solution that gave the Cozy girls the flexibility to edit text and add pictures themselves once the initial development was finished.

culinary photography

We did a photoshoot using studio flashes in order to capture the perfect culinary pictures. We needed these photos to build their website and run their social media campaigns. Below are a few of our favourite photos taken for them.

menu

No restaurant can function without a menu. The girls at Le Cozy Café are some very creative gals, they knew they liked changing their menus often. We came up with an elegant design that matched with their brand identity, printed on regular 8.5 x 11 printer sheets.

Six months after our initial mandate began the cozy girls had built themselves a decent reputation, but wanted to solidify it in the publics eye. We presented them with the opportunity of a lifetime. In collaboration with Beachclub and Cakes Par Hautes Coutures (Jessika’s second business), Le Cozy Cafe was going to be baking Kylie Jenner’s 18th birthday cake for her appearance at Beachclub in Montreal.

After sending off a few emails to some journalist I thought might be interested in the story, something truly amazing happened. Hundreds of articles from some of the most reputable publications in the country, and from across the world, surfaced about Jessika baking Kylie’s 18th birthday cake. She was interviewed on the Radio, on Tv, and over the phone dozens of times over the course of a few days.

Here are a few of those articles:
